A shipping receipt, 1847 March 27, for one case merchandise shipped by Fisher Blashfield, New York, on the schooner Ann, to Petersburg, Va., to McIlwaine & Browntz. A Confederate bond, 1864 June 26, issued in Abingdon, Va., to James W. Sheffey, for $160.00. A Rebel account claim, 1868 June 13, by G.M. Baber, for $209 damages, filed in Benton County, Tennessee, for food siezed by [Nathan Bedford] For[r]est, including 25 barrels corn, 300 pounds bacon, and 150 pounds flour. The claim was approved and signed by Governor D.W.C. Senter. A Wells Fargo & Co. Express receipt, 1911 August 25, for 1 bar gold bullion.
